Well it has been way too long since my last blog post. I have been blessed with a lot of great shoots, so much so that the blog has taken a back seat. That being said, I decided to post my favorite shots from the past few months rather than each shoot individually. I'll try to keep up from here on out. So here they are:
I feel very privileged to have so many images and stories included in the current issue of Central Florida Bride Magazine, to include the cover. I worked with an amazing team of people during the shoot for the cover and fashion spread to include DSR Designs and Atmospheres, About Face, and, of course, Brandi from CFB.
Adam and Kara tied the knot July 11 at Paradise Cove. Though a rain shower brought the ceremony under cover, the day began and ended beautifully. Just one more reason, by the way, to do as many photos before the ceremony as possible, especially during Florida's rainy season. It was a pleasure being a part of their day. I spent a few hours at the Pola's amazing residence July 3 photographing the family. I photographed Jennifer's wedding in May of 2007 (who is now expecting) and I look forward to being a part of her sister, Emily's, Wedding in April of next year.
Paul and Perkins P.A. recently hired me to take some photographs at their office for their new website. It's nice to mix it up every once in a while. I do more than weddings, you know.
My friend, Bernadette, graciously volunteered to model during a photography training session I held for a friend who was headed to Europe and wanted some last minute instruction before he ventured off with his camera to a foreign land. We got some pretty cool images in the process.
I met my friends Stacy and Michele in Winter Park on June 1 to photograph their engagement session. We started at Dinky Dock and ended up at Casa Feliz, where we did some experimental and interesting night time images. Thanks for the cooperation, guys. I think it paid off.
After 10 years of marriage, John and Nicole renewed their vows at the amazing Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. Cindy Saunders from Signature Weddings Orlando did a wonderful job coordinating the special event. Greenery Productions created the beautiful center pieces and bouquet, The Event Source provided the chair covers and Linen, and MJ from Junction 88 Productions kept the party going. My wife and I met our friends, Joey and Annelyse, and their family at the beach May 17 for a family portrait session. Considering the amount of kids involved, I think it went rather well. And no shoot at the beach is complete without a little splashing around.
I had a great time photographing Kara and Quinn's engagement session on May 16. They were a fun and relaxed couple to work with and I look forward to being a part of their wedding day on October 17.
